STEPWISE ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT OUFRO

All the foreign students seeking admission into various UG, PG & Ph.D. programmes are directed to follow the step wise procedure given below:

• 1st

  Students should obtain the International Student's Education Bulletin (Prospectus-cum-application form) on payment of Rs. 400/- in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of“THE DIRECTOR, UFRO, O.U.”,from the office of University Foreign Relations Office, O.U.
  Note: If any other person is applying on behalf of the student, the application form shall be accepted only after submission of valid & genuine authorization letter on the bearer /applicant’s name. The applicant / the bearer shall produce a copy of residential proof, identity proof and genuine contact number. Sent to this office emails with a copy to the authorizer.

• 2nd

  Fill up the provisional admission form and submit it along with the following enclosures:

  1. Non-refundable registration fee mentioned against each course in the prospectus in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “THE DIRECTOR, UFRO,OU”.

  2. Two (2) copies of certificates listed in the detailed admission procedure, duly certified by the Ministry of Higher Education or the Embassy concerned. This should be done well in time so that the student is able to obtain the student / research visa before the due date of admission. Applications for the admissions without the requisite registration fee will not be entertained.

  3. Two (2) copies of all pages of passport.

  4. one passport size photo (picture) of the candidate

• 3rd

  Obtain the Provisional Admission Letter from the Office of UFRO, O.U. for obtaining the student / research visa. In case of Ph.D. admissions, the candidate has to submit the application for obtaining research visa available atwww.education.nic.in/hesch1.aspin seven sets in the office of UFRO, Osmania University. It is Mandatory to obtain the signature of the Registrar, O.U. on certificate of affiliation.

• 4th

  Submit the Provisional Admission letter to the Indian Embassy in the respective country for seeking a student visa/research visa endorsed to Osmania University. PIOs/Children of the workers working in the Gulf Countries students do not require a visa.

• 5th

  After obtaining student /research visa, report to the Office of UFRO, O.U. for final admission along with originals certificates. Fill the final admission form and submit it with one set of Xerox copy of the following documents:

  1. 10+2 / High School certificate.
  2. Degree/ Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
  3. Mark list of qualifying examination.
  4. Student visa.
  5. A photocopy of their passport - duly attested by the Ministry of Higher Education in their country or the Embassy concerned.
  6. Tuition fee and Compulsory Health Insurance fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of“THE DIRECTOR, UFRO,OU”and submitted in the office of UFRO, O.U.
  7. 12 passport size photographs(pictures)
  8. Bonafide/Certificates of study abroad in case of PIOs/Children of the workers working in the Gulf Countries for admission into B.E./B.Tech. Programmes
  9. NRI status of PIOs/Children of the workers working in the Gulf Countries.
  10. Work permit of PIOs/Children of the workers working in the Gulf Countries.
• 6th

  Sumit the original final admission letter along with the original certificates if the qualifying examination in the college allotted. The candidate will not be considered for final admission without original certificates and payment of required fees. The original certificates will be returned to the students immediately after making an endorsement to this effect.

• 7th

  Complete the admission procedure in the college and obtain Bonafide Certificate from the college. Register with the police in the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) immediately after obtaining the bonafide.Obtain residential permit from the office of FRRO, Hyderabad and submit a copy of it in the office of UFRO, O.U. immediately after obtaining it.
